The Children Ministry is looking for some board games to restock our inventory. If you have some board games that need a good home please drop them off in the tote located in the foyer. Questions?-heather@redeemeratlanta.org.

Redeemer has a ministry that provides meals to families in our church community. This is a great, tangible way to care for others in need. If you would like to be a part of this ministry and be notified of upcoming opportunities to care please contact Amy Smrcina at amy@redeemeratlanta.org.

For women only: if you would like to connect with women at Redeemer, study the bible and evenings are the best time for you, join us for a twice monthly women's group. We meet at 7 pm on Monday nights at a home near the church, and we are currently studying Judges. Email Amy Smrcina at amy@redeemeratlanta.org if you are interested.

Open Studio Nights are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 7 PM to 9 PM.  Mark your calendar for February 7. Come, create, and connect with others - whether you are a trained artist or just starting a new craft - you are welcome to attend this laid back time of creativity and fellowship. The Session asks that we all join in prayer for God's guidance and provision as we seek to start an after-school program at our facility for hispanic children at High Point Elementary. This would be a ministry of our church to hispanic children and their families in Sandy Springs as well as an opportunity for outreach to others in our community who might volunteer to help.  We have been approached by LaAmistad, an after-school ministry that has served Fulton County schools for over 10 years.  They want to partner with us to create a program at Redeemer to serve children at High Point Elementary.  We are excited about this opportunity and are seeking God's leading, directing, and provision specifically for volunteers to staff the program and a few key leaders to help champion the program.  Please pray.  For more information visit http://www.laamistadfriendship.org/ or contact cory@redeemeratlanta.org.

On February 1st at 7:30 PM, there will be a prayer meeting at Chris & Aimee Rank's home to pray for La Amistad.

With so many new people joining us every Sunday, it’s time to make fellowship a bit easier!  On the first Sunday of the each month, we will gather together in the Commons for food and fellowship after the service.  From the tiniest to the tallest, youngest to oldest, this is a great opportunity to eat and meet!!  “What to bring” will be posted in the worship guide distributing the food via first letter of your last name (ie. A-H entree, I-P – sides, Q-Z – desserts). Church of the Redeemer has an active weekly prayer email ministry. If you would like to join this email list and begin praying for the needs of our community and praising God for answered prayer, please email ewan@redeemeratlanta.org.  Additionally, we would like to start quarterly parish prayer meetings among three main parish groups - Northwest of 400, Northeast of 400, and Inside 285.  These meetings will be initially led by our worship director, Cory Sellers, in the homes of congregants.  If you are interested in hosting a prayer gathering in your home, please contact Cory at cory@redeemeratlanta.org.

The first gathering of Inside 285 will be held at Chris & Suzanne White's home at 7 PM on February 27th.

Every second Monday of the month we will gather for dinner and prayer in the commons.  All are invited!  In 2012, one of our hopes is that God would grow us as a family defined by worship and prayer.  Corporate gathered prayer is a powerful means of grace.  Dinner is from 6:00-6:30pm and Prayer from 6:30-7:30pm.  Following that is time for Ministry Team meetings, etc.  Our next Dinner and Prayer meeting is Feb 13th.   RSVP to amy@redeemeratlanta.org to reserve dinner and to heather@redeemeratlanta.org to reserve child care (1 week notice required for childcare.)
