The W@R Book Club will meet at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 14 in the Commons to discuss plans for 2009. We’ll be selecting the books we are going to read for the year and decide the meeting dates and place(s) for book club discussions. Bring two or three books you’d like to read and discuss and any ideas you may have. Contact Debbie Hoover if you have any questions.

Mueo Dance classes

Noelle Williamson will be offering 2 dance classes through Mueo. Creative Movement is for younger children ages 3 through 5, and pre-ballet is for ages 6 through 8. Please contact Noelle at noelle@mueoarts.com for more information regarding these classes.

School of Discipleship Course begins Sunday, Jan. 18, 9 AM

Taught by Phil Drake and Adam Young, this course will explore the dynamics of marriage. We’ll use a book called Questions Couples Ask Behind Closed Doors as a launching off point. Some of the questions we’ll address include:
-How can I be married and still be my own person?
-How did we end up together, anyway?
-Why do we have the same argument—over and over again?
-Why can’t I say what I mean without getting in trouble?
